which is best, rottweiler, boxer or siberian husky?

i’ve been trying to make my mind up for a long time, i have experience with a few different dog breeds such as Chihuahuas, Bull Mastiff X Rottweiler and Alsatians and i helped my nan with her border collie (e.g training and walking)
but anyway i love bigger dogs they are much better companions in my opinion just i want a dog that i can let of lesh and will come back once called, will be good around smaller kids (my 2 little cousins love dogs also so it needs to be tough and tolerant with youngsters lol) isnt rediculously hard to train and has quite abit of energy as i enjoy jog/running and cycling. Needs to be a good guard dog.
Also on picking the breed which would be better female or male as ive heard many things like male dogs get on better with girls and like female rottweiler are more loyal when walking of leash etc but i dont really know if its true i thought it was to do with how they were brought up.
well anyways can you suggest the best of those 3 breeds for me and any other pros and cons of the breeds (besides illness’s i know about the history of them with these 3 breeds thanks )

also i plan on taking my dog to a training centre
i know its not encouranged but i used to wrestle with my bull mastiffx rottweiler (he was like a red/brown rottweiler in appearence lol) all the time and he never got carried away and bite me id like a dog kinda like that playful and extremely loyal

rottweiler i ran a rescue for these dogs re homed many but kept one as he had bitten his owner
so i wouldn’t re home a dog that had bitten the females are loving loyal dogs then males
even though the same breed poles apart i had a fully entire male who once understood that i was the boss was the most loyal family orientated dog but he was a challenge and that’s why i ended up with alot of male juveniles
boxers are slow to mature they are still pups at 2yrs old they are big bouncy hyper and have a mind of their own that does get them into trouble they also have issues about being home alone
huskies are aloof dogs that can be shy around strangers they can be stubborn and have tendencies not to like other dogs but if you are into running etc then this may be the dog for you as they like to be active they are good guard dogs only barking when there is something that needs to be barked at
not like some3 dogs who bark at the wind
as with all breeds of dogs its how you bring them up that determine what kind of dog it will grow up to be hope this helps

I would get a husky, I hear that the other breeds of dog you are interested can be aggressive towards humans and other dogs no matter how experienced the trainer. I think Husky s are much more cute anyway

Its up to you to make your desion if i was you i would research all three types of dogs and decide then which suits your life style the most.

as a guard dog i would suggest a rottweiler as far as im aware they are the only herding dogs out of those three but i personaly prefer boxers i would imagine any of those breeds would be fine with kids as long as they were well socialized and as for the sex i would go for a female because of your cousins. Maternal instinct would be good. german shepherds do make wonderful dogs and it sounds like they may be an ideal breed for you

Rottweiler is a hand’s on breed, they all pretty much are, but especially the rottweiler. All three are very good breeds. I would just do a lot of reading up on each breed and make a pick that would be suitable for you, and remember that a dog no matter what breed is a commitment for the life of that animal.

Based on your criteria, I would say a Husky is out. Most dogs can eventually be trained in recall but Sibs are notoriously untrustworthy off lead. They are also terrible guard dogs as they are usually very friendly toward strangers.

Rotts are very sweet dogs so would probably do well with your cousins (although no dog should ever be left alone with small children) but look intimidating enough to scare most people off.

I don’t know much about Boxers except that they are intelligent dogs and usually not too difficult to train. I believe they can also do well with children.

All three breeds are high energy and would enjoy exercising with you but any dog needs to be trained extensively to be 100% trustworthy off lead and some dogs simply never will be regardless of breed.

It is completely untrue that a female Rott will be "more loyal" off lead. Loyalty has nothing to do with whether your dog will respond to your commands. Training determines if your dog will return to you even in a new, interesting environment.

Although it is a matter of personal opinion. A few pros and cons of each. Huskies have longer fur so more maintenance and shedding. They also would not do well in the desert climates. Rotts would make the best guard dogs of the three and are much larger, if size is an issue with kids. They are all high energy dogs requiring a fair amount of excercise.

I would suggust the boxer, my daughter has one and he is the sweetist dog I have ever seen.
